With over 20 years of experience as a professional educator and literacy consultant, I am passionate about creating equitable and inclusive learning environments for diverse learners. As a Diverse Learner Teacher at LEARN Charter School Network, I design and deliver reading and literacy instruction that meets the needs and strengths of students with various learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds.In addition to teaching, I also served as a Professional Learning Specialist at Amplify, where I supported teachers and school leaders in implementing data-driven assessment and intervention strategies, instructional technology, and best practices for reading and literacy development. I leverage my MEd in Reading and Literacy, B.S. in Special Education and Teaching, and Certification in Scrum to facilitate effective and engaging professional development and coaching sessions that foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. My mission is to empower educators and students to achieve their academic and personal goals through literacy.
