started in insurance as a claims handler, then managed my own team of 10 staff within operations. moved on in to quality assurance where I reviews claims within home, counterfraud, travel, tma and pet insurance functions to ensure customers are receiving the correct service and ensuring business meets their regulatory requirements. have managed an operation department for 6 months overseeing 100 staff and 9 team leaders. worked within commercial first line I of defence as a control coordinator which included testing controls within commercial to ensure they are meeting the minimum standards and highlighting and recording any potential risks to the business.
