Lisa Bomble studied public participation in municipal planning in a Swedish context. Her main interest is how architecture is communicated differently to different stakeholders. In two case studies she studies participation and empowerment using different methods: First in Uddevalla where site analyses were based on stakeholder interviews. That study is followed by formative assessment in Lerum municipality where she studies the public’s influence on the municipality’s efforts to work on sustainable development within a new political organisation.
