Serves as the MSCoE G-3's integrator for leader development and principal action officer and lead for the coordinated execution of professional military education across the center. Supervises Professional Military Education & Training and the support architecture and personnel for Mission Command simulation exercises offered to the operational force and institutional training courses. Oversees the operation of divisions charged with Professional Military Education, Leader Development, Civilian Workforce Training, Library Services, Simulation and Exercise development and implementation and International Military Student oversight.

Responsible for the development and delivery of training for engineer lieutenants, captains, warrant officers at the US Army Engineer School. Supervises and directs the planning, administering, coordinating, and evaluating resources of activities in the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of Engineer Officer Professional Military Education courses. The DOI mission involves knowledge of requirements in the instructional systems of occupational analysis, design, services, program evaluation, development of test and measurements, and instructional program administration.

Responsible for the management of all phases of analysis, design and development of the US Army CBRN School's individual and collective training products. Provides oversight for the development of all Programs of Instruction for courses taught by the CBRN School, including Officer, NCO and enlisted training courses, interactive multimedia instruction, and training video production. Manages the development of collective training products including Collective Tasks, Unit Task Lists, Combined Arms Training Strategies to support unit training requirements.

Director for the Army's FAST program at Fort Hood, providing on-duty academic skills training for approximately 2000 Soldiers per year.
