My role involves leading on the quality of teaching, learning and assessment for the whole college and partners. This encompasses the procedure for OTL, graded observations, learning walks and mock inspections. I train and standardise the observation team and ensure that the grade profile is accurate. All processes and documentation are developed by myself.I work with the staff coaches to ensure that any under performance is improved rapidly and that new innovative approaches are explored to enhance the learners experience and journey. I conduct the moderation to ensure that trends and themes are shared on teaching, learning and assessment. I provide data management for all KPIs and I capture progress made by learners from their initial starting point and also termly and any embedding statistics.I capture all stakeholder feedback which is disseminated to the curriculum and/or business areas to act upon. I develop all elements of quality improvement planning, SAR validations, Quality improvement review boards for all business areas, the curriculum and the partners. I report timely to the executive team and governors on performance and Equality and diversity and send weekly data sheets to all of the curriculum and business areas. I prepare the college for Ofsted and ensure that staff have access to meaningful CPD which maximises impact. I support with work experience, placements, employability and also support with progression and destination information and data.I provide support to any area deemed in "special measures" by providing a plan of support and reviewing this at several points throughout the year. I provide support to the HE provision in preparation for the HE review. This is reported directly to the executive team and governors.

In my teaching career I obtained 9 consecutive grade 1 sessions. All bar one was completed by an external team made up of acting Ofsted inspectors. I taught across all levels and modes of study to provide me with a breadth of knowledge and experience.I was Lead IV for Beauty and helped to standardise the team and I was also the Programme Leader for the level 3 provision.The programmes I ran achieved 100% success rates due to careful recruitment, support and the best quality of teaching and assessment which maximised the learning and overall experience.
