A former restaurant owner, builder, tinkerer, hobby mechanic and maker of things cold (HVAC Red Seal), I am a recent graduate from UBC, integrated engineering, specializing in mechanical and electrical engineering. My 10+ years as owner operator of multiple foodservice business including restaurants, repair and consulting businesses ensure I understand an ROI and make smart choices on spending time and money.Working as a repair technician for food equipment and HVAC will influence my methods of designing new products focused on serviceability and sustainability.Becoming a student after 20+ years in the work force and choosing to learn more after achieving 'expert' status ensures I'm driven, adaptable and curious.I want to help build things that will make the world better.
