First and foremost, I’m a team player, ready to broaden my horizons past teaching to join the corporate world. I’m looking for the right collaborative team and opportunity to deploy my extensive and powerful skillset to build my next career.Collaboration: One of my favorite parts of teaching is the opportunity to collaborate with other teachers and education experts, sharing ideas and feedback, then implementing meaningful change based on the collaboration.Strategic Thinking: I am an expert at creating an overall educational strategy that meets the needs of each student. This requires a broad understanding of the child, the curriculum, and additional resources available to help that child succeed.Data Driven: In each classroom, I evaluate data on each child’s progress, and map that information to targeted, differentiated learning opportunities for each child. I also evaluate data comparing results across grade levels and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.Project Management: In the classroom, each child is a project, with their own unique style of learning, personality, goals, and data points. I create learning opportunities based on that information. I also pivot in my delivery when students struggle to understand concepts.Client Success and Communication: Communicating clearly with parents, school and district administrators, and other teachers is critical to creating an environment of trust and understanding on both sides of the education equation.Multi-tasking: Every day, I juggle multiple requirements, including the needs of the students, curriculum, and school administration while delivering meaningful instruction.
