With 17+ years of Supply Chain experience, I've focused half of my career within large corporate environments, and the other half within a privately held, high-growth business. I believe that genuine human-to-human connection is what builds up businesses, teams, lives, and careers. And as such, I believe that as a leader, it is my responsibility to use those relationships to drive daily improvements within my business unit, in order to achieve best-in-class results for my employer. I affectionately call this 'The Aggregation of Marginal Gains.' Working with Supply Chain is unbelievably meaningful for me. My chosen industries have been within residential new housing and utility operations. As such, I have had the privilege to partner in building dreams, establishing a safe place for a family, and providing essential services. Home is a place where families celebrate holidays, mourn losses; where the big promotion is announced, and where children take their first steps. Utility operations is equally meaningful, as without power, hospitals cannot perform life saving procedures, and without power within schools, it would be substantially more difficult to educate our children. This vision provides a meaningful reason to come to work each and everyday, and is one of the two significant reasons that I do what I do. The second (and equally important) part of my professional 'why' is centered around employee growth and development. I personally have had a number of mentors over the years, that have invested in me regularly, and with intention. Because of their diligence, and my hard work, my career has grown from an Individual Contributor, to a Strategic Leadership role. On a daily basis, I am truly blessed to get to pour into others, and raise up the next generation of industry professionals.
