With over 30 years of experience in accounting and business consulting, I lead with an entrepreneurial spirit and hospitality DNA. I have proven success in numerous industries including private clubs, public accounting, arts, education and retail. This exposure elevated my growth as a financial strategist, not-for-profit specialist and human resources professional. In addition, I have worked alongside construction project managers on the coordination and financial management of multimillion dollar renovation projects at both the Lyric Opera of Chicago and Rice Memorial High School as well as acting project manager for in house renovation projects at additional venues. These experiences set the foundation for my future success at Country Club of Vermont (CCVT). My career with CCVT began at a time when the Club was in financial distress, grasping at memberships with barebones staff. The challenge was set and allowed my entrepreneurial spirit to flourish as I sought to reimagine CCVT in collaboration with the General Manager. Immersing myself fully during a 10 year span, membership revenue doubled, the Food and Beverage operation thrived with regularly sold out reservations and numerous overdue CAPEX improvements and purchases were made through sound financial management and a shift to a warm and inviting Club culture. Riding on that momentum, I continued to push for new initiatives including designing the new website, implementing the mobile app, updating a dated logo and color palette, renovating the Pro Shop, operating as buyer and merchandiser for certain golf apparel, all while continuing my roles in finance, HR and IT. I proudly concluded my career with CCVT on a truly high note.Contemplating life after CCVT, I would not sit still and opened my Farmhouse Chic Bed & Breakfast within 3 days of concluding my position. It has been a successful 5 star venture, with accolades to my guest service, interior design, and menu. I am thrilled to curate a truly memorable guest experience.Progredi Solutions is my business serving as the umbrella for entrepreneurial ventures since 2001, including my aforementioned B&B. I also coached families towards photo preservation and storytelling as photo historian for which I was selected by the parent company to present at the National Convention on the topic of team building to an audience of over 6000 guests. And I have provided accounting and strategic business services, currently partnering as Fractional CFO with Golf Garage, an indoor golf coaching facility owned by the 2024 NEPGA Teacher of the Year.
