Lisa is a partner that practices in Cook County and surrounding counties. For over 20 years, she has defended high exposure cases with catastrophic damages in a broad spectrum of civil litigation, including commercial litigation, health care litigation, long-term care/nursing home litigation and professional liability.Throughout her career, she has handled all aspects of cases ranging from pre-suit investigations to trial. Her attention to detail, commitment to a cohesive defense, and ability to step back and see the big picture have helped her win numerous summary judgments and obtain dismissals for her clients prior to trial. In addition to handling lawsuits, Lisa also counsels physicians and other licensed professionals in appearing before and defending matters against the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).Lisa is a member of several bar associations and other professional societies. She frequently presents on various topics including the importance of documentation, how to avoid being sued, litigation 101 for resident physicians and nurses, preparing for and surviving depositions, and presenting multiple mock trials for various audiences.
