Drawing on her extensive advisory and business experience in the investment industry, Lisa oversees the strategic direction of the firm, and is responsible for the legal aspects of the PearTree Canada's business. Lisa gained an in depth knowledge of securities regulation on secondment to the Ontario Securities Commission. Lisa also spent several years as General Counsel for a specialized investment fund business. While in private practice, Lisa specialized in corporate and securities law with Heenan Blaikie LLP and Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP where she was admitted to partnership in 1992. A graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, Lisa was called to the Bar of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1986. She has earned her ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and is a member of the Association de L'Éxploration Minière du Quebec, Women in Mining and Women in Capital Markets. Lisa has served as a Director of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), as well as member of the Executive Committee and co-chair of the Finance & Taxation Committee of PDAC.
