My career journey has taken me to a medley of interesting industries including satellite communications, real estate development, third party collections, subprime lending, and tax preparation. With every new industry, I honed my natural talent of developing potential in others. I pride myself on gaining a deep understanding of my learners and tailoring the content to create meaningful learning solutions. I’ve been a salesperson, a manager, a leader, a trainer, and a facilitator. I’ve been on both sides of the learning process: producing training content for both self-study and the classroom experience and facilitating live training sessions, in person and virtually. I am an avid learner and love nothing more than to dig in and learn something new. I am energized by change and possibilities; but I understand that change isn’t easy for everyone. I am a serial tweaker of content and program design, continuously seeking the optimal learning experience for every learner while balancing budget and resources. Currently, I design, administer, and facilitate leadership development programs at the global consumer tax prep company that invented assisted tax preparation. My perfect job is one where I can design and implement an effective learning strategy for an organization. I thrive in an environment where I can ask the question “what if we tried a different way?” and play a role in continuous improvement and growth.
