The Neighbourhood Alert system has been designed and constructed by VISAV Limited, which provides an advanced I.T. solution for Police Forces, Local Authorities and members of Neighbourhood Watch. Facilities include a Scheme builder, Crime notification alerts, graphs and charts regarding crime on participating streets and an incident reporting system. We currently work with 22 UK police forces, the Neighbourhood and Home Watch Network (England & Wales), Neighbourhood Watch Scotland and Action Fraud.We are proud to say that we have the biggest community messaging system in the UK and my role is to promote Neighbourhood Alert to Police Forces that we are not yet partnered with and keep those that we are informed of news and updates.Our new Twitter account for Neighbourhood Alert is @AlertPlatform and our new website will be launched within the next few weeks.

VISAV Limited is an IT company based at our offices in Sherwood, Nottingham. VISAV supplies content-managed websites, a community messaging system for (currently) 22 Police Forces across the UK (Neighbourhood Alert) and a school meals online system for one of the UK's biggest providers.We work closely with National Neighbourhood Watch and host a secure, online database for this organisation. My role of Microsite and Training Manager requires me to co-ordinate the production of local, branded Neighbourhood Watch sites for accredited Associations in the UK and organise training sessions for multi-scheme administrators via VISAV. Together with my husband, we are the majority owners of the company, which has now been running for 14 years and also designed and built the Things to do in Nottinghamshire concept, as well as another of our products, Mealselector (school meals online system).I'm still running Things to do in Nottinghamshire, writing reviews and babbling on Radio Nottingham - life is busy!!

I joined the Galleries of Justice at the Chief Executive's PA and worked with Diane Lees and then Peter Armstrong. Diane and Peter eventually went on to Director positions at the Imperial War Museum and the Royal Armouries in Leeds respectively and I am very proud to be able to say that I was part of their team during their time at the GOJ.Following my PA stint, I was allowed to stretch my wings and explore new opportunities at the Galleries. Working with a small team, we organised and promoted events at this historic venue, including Murder Mystery and Ghost Evenings, as well as our legendary Christmas parties! We also provided corporate space for meetings and conferences in a unique setting.

This was my first full-time job after leaving college. As well as travelling to some pretty fantastic places in Europe and America, I assisted the CEO with his administrative requirements and tried to make his life just a little bit easier.
