Expereinced Resource Coordinator who directly impact the financial and logistical aspects of the cancer and transplant treatment. Connecting patients with resources that alleviate the stress of treatment. To include grants, drug assistance, housing and transportation coordination, insurance navigation, referrals to such programs as Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security disability, local county programs, food resources to name a few. Also possesses an extensive knowledge of the medical practice industry, to include insurance billing , ICD10 coding, research navigation and physician relations. Works with many local and national charities and foundations, in both a resource and fundraising role. This includes the recent( June 2018) formation of a new 501C3 non profit to benefit blood cancer patients. In the past 3 years I have personally raised funds for LLS to the tune of $160,000, in both an individual, team participant and team captain capacity.

Initiated and enrolled patients in Expanded Use( non FDA approved) drugs. This includes working with the Food and Drug administration, Institutional Review Board(IRB) for research protocols.
