As a Paraprofessional Educator at Rahway Board of Education, I support the learning and development of students with diverse needs and abilities. I work with teachers, administrators, and other staff to create and implement effective instructional strategies and interventions that enhance student engagement and achievement.Before joining Rahway Board of Education in Nov 2021, I spent over 19 years as a Senior Human Resources Manager at Modell's Sporting Goods, where I led and managed various aspects of HR operations and policies for a large retail chain. I was an expert in employee relations, compensation, labor relations, succession planning, and HRIS, and I handled complex and sensitive issues with professionalism and integrity. I also have a degree in Business/Corporate Communications from St. John's University and I am currently pursuing a certificate in Investigation and Interview- Harrassment and Retaliation from Cornell University.I am passionate about working with and for people, and I thrive on finding solutions to challenges in the everchanging landscape of retail and education. I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives and careers of others, and I value collaboration, diversity, and innovation. My goal is to leverage my HR expertise and my paraprofessional skills to provide quality education and learning support to the students and staff at Rahway Board of Education.
