Lisa Dunlap, ASID, CID, has over 30 years of professional interior design experience with projects ranging from high-end and international residential, commercial, hospitality, restaurant and retail design. In October 2013, she proudly joined the team at SFA Design as a senior designer. A Los Angeles native, she earned an AA and Advanced Interior Design Certification from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. She became a member of the American Society of Interior Designers when she earned her National Council for Interior Design Qualifications Certificate, followed by her certification as a professional interior designer. Lisa’s early career brought experience in many aspects of the design industry, including participating in numerous Showcase Houses of Design and serving on the board of directors of the American Society of Interior Designers LA Chapter. Always interested in giving back to the community, Lisa served on the board of directors of the Santa Clarita Valley Boys & Girls Club and donates to Homes For Our Troops.She joined Erika Brunson Design Associates in 1989 and expanded her talents by creating palaces and wedding productions for members of the Saudi Royal Family. She served as the principal in charge of all aspects of Mrs. Brunson's well-known reproduction furniture line and after many successful years there, the time came to take on other challenges.With the formation of Tesori Designs in 2006, Lisa seized the opportunity to draw on her extensive experience and talent, eye for stylish design and a team of skilled artisans to create a comprehensive and ever-growing line of fine custom furnishings inspired by popular 20th century designs with a timeless, French Deco influence.In 2008 she was asked to collaborate with Joan Behnke on a significant update to The Villas at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and prior to joining SFA, created inspired interiors for private residences, Wink Optometry and Xi’an Restaurant in Beverly Hills.Specialties: •Creative, efficient, accurate and organized with an eye for details and foresight only years of experience provides•Extensive experience in domestic and international residential, contract, hospitality, retail & restaurant design•CCIDC certified interior designer, 1993•Professional Member of the American Society of Interior Designers, 1987, Associate Member, 1983-1987•Able to effectively and creatively work on multiple, large-scale projects while staying focused and calm under pressure
