During this ten week internship I spent time with the management team at store #188 and learned the ins and outs of the different departments as well as learning about store operations and management tactics. I also spent three days at the corporate office learning more about the company as a whole and the day to day operations of a category manager.

I worked with the Library Science department in helping with the execution of events such as Teen Library Day. I also created informational bulletin boards for the department, shelved books, and shelf read the collection.

I checked out customers, supervised self-checkout stations, and kept the lane I was working at neat. On several occasions I was the opening or closing cashier.
