My focus for my clients, whether in property, business or dispute resolution, is achieving the best commercial outcomes. Law on its own will not always give you the best commercial outcome - whether or not the law agrees with you. Law often comes down to a commercial decision, whether it is what you need to give up in order to finalise a deal, or whether to settle litigation or pursue it to the end (or even not proceed to begin with). The question should always be what is the best commercial outcome, and I strive to help my clients find that answer.I have significant experience representing clients across a range of locations in commercial and property litigation, and commercial, residential and industrial property transactions – I have been involved in commercial, residential and industrial property transactions in the ACT, NSW and QLD, and been involved in litigation in the ACT, NSW, VIC and the Federal Courts. In my current role, I assist clients with undertaking contract negotiations and drafting; drafting and negotiating commercial and industrial leases; the sale and purchase of commercial and residential property; conducting legal due diligence; setting up companies; and representing clients in commercial and property disputes during both the pre-litigation and litigation stages including participating in settlement negotiations and mediation.My key strengths include: • ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships• strong organisational skills• ability to achieve outcomes and work productively under pressure• attention to detail• effective team player and ability to collaborate• commercialityI have a passion for sustainable living, and am working towards this goal through owning, living at and developing a small (soon to be) farm.I also have a passion for helping people.
