After losing our son, a close friend compared the loss of my son to the loss of her dog. I never wanted a grieving family to hear those words again and decided to write a book to educate those that have lost and those that grief along. I interviewed 13 families, I created a questionnaire with over 20 questions for the families, edited and self-published my book. I asked questions from how the families lost their loved ones, how it affected their job, their church life, their personal life, etc and how they honored their children. The children ranged from 20 minutes of age to 35 years of age- loss is loss regardless of the age.

My husband and I created a young adult children's book line. We saw that there was a lack of creative reading materials for young African American children so we created this line. Our main character is a young African American boy who keeps his neighborhood and his Grandma safe with his intelligence and his magic flying wagon. He is a great little kid, sort of an Fat Albert type character set in current times.

I performed legal research and analysis regarding the Discharge of Liability, interpleader actions, awarding of attorney fees and costs, reasonable suspicion during a traffic stop, distribution of child pornography, statutory speedy trial rights, and the effects of coronavirus on that right.

During the summer of 2018 I clerked at Pesek law firm. I worked on legal research on such topics as the bill reform act, selective prosecution, workman's compensation, and immigration. I helped work on pro-bono client's cases as well as outside projects with the firm. I worked on the firm's personal injury website to help update their system of letter writing, form creation, etc. While working at this firm I realized that this was the exact type of law that I desired to do! I want to help people that have been injured, or lost loved ones and help them on the journey that this injury or loss will take them.

I helped clients find their dream homes, sell their homes and move onto the next adventure in their life and also managed their inspections, negotiations and contracts of selling and buying property

I teach 3 classes at the Omaha Learning Center. This is a learning facility for over 400 homeschool children. I currently teach a dessert class to ages 10 and up, a Comfort Cooking class to ages 10 to 18 and a Fun with Foods class for ages 5 to 10.

I organized DJ's day in honor of my 13 year old son who passed away due to a skateboarding accident. I got financial donations, free food, free shirts, discounted skateboard helmets and locations. I gave away over 1200 skateboard helmets to the community during the 3 years that I did the event.

Bartended, maintained the books, hired staff, ordered inventory, arranged schedules and promotional events
