With over 30 years of experience in mindfulness practices, I have dedicated my career to improving the lives of educators, students, and families through the power of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). As Chief Strategy Officer at Inner Explorer, I have played a pivotal role in program development and research, ensuring that our evidence-based mindfulness programs make a meaningful impact in school communities.My journey began with an undergraduate degree from the University of California-Berkeley, followed by Clinical Training in Behavioral Medicine with Dr. Herbert Benson at Harvard Medical School. I also hold a certification in MBSR from the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts. These foundations have equipped me to contribute significantly to Inner Explorer, where I served on the Board of Directors and continue to guide our strategic initiatives.Through my private practice, I have worked with children, adults, and corporate clients, teaching the value of mindfulness to enrich lives and promote well-being. My commitment to sharing the well-documented benefits of mindful awareness remains steadfast, as I believe that when we embody these practices, we become kinder, happier, and more peaceful individuals.At Inner Explorer, our mission is to make the daily practice of mindfulness accessible and approachable for everyone, transforming education and nurturing human potential, one student at a time.
