Responsible for the P&L, strategy, and product development for Intel’s desktop product line, one of Intel’s largest business. Led the 're-invention' of the desktop with new products, form factors and user experiences, which opened new market segments and categories for growth. Resulted in growing this multi-billion dollar business with record financial results in 2014, a turnaround from 8 quarters of decline. Also manage the Service Provider Division (SPD), which produces processors for cable gateways and set top boxes. SPD has grown to be the #1 supplier in cable gateway SOCs. Led Intel's proposed acquisition of Lantiq, expanding the home gateway business, adding technologies for the connected home, and broadening Intel's IOT portfolio.
