Reporting to the CEO, I have sole operational responsibility for 46 primary care services with an overall budget of £36M. These include a 24/7 UCC, Walk In Centres and both APMS & GMS/PMS General Practice sites. I am responsible for the effective delivery of patient care across all sites, demonstrating high quality services and improved patient health outcomes. Through the robust management of my field-based teams, I ensure rigorous systems are in place in each practice to manage the efficient performance of each practice and its staff. All my practices are CQC registered, and I ensure all practices maintain CQC compliance and are prepared for an inspection. I manage a number of complex contracts across multiple CCG's. I lead on contract reviews and contract extensions ensuring we deliver a safe and effective service within the defined financial envelope. I also lead on new contract bids and acquisitions, managing the end-to-end process from cost modelling the opportunity, bid writing, bid dialogue, right through to mobilisation and integration of contract wins.
