The global team has over 200 years of experience in event management, demand generation, design, and marketing. People are at the center of every exceptional event, and our goal is to help clients achieve (and exceed!) their desired outcomes.Lisa Gregory started her career planning events at the University of Oregon. After graduating and earning her Certificate in Festival and Event Management and a minor in project management, Lisa moved to Portland, OR, to work for a non-profit. There she executed annual programs, including the Portland International Auto Show, membership meetings, a golf tournament, board meetings, and media events.Lisa was then recruited to a prestigious global PR and marketing agency which catapulted her career in international high-tech events. Traveling 35% of the year to Asia, Europe, and the US, Lisa spent five years perfecting user conferences, trade shows, workshops, and field marketing while working for high-tech consortiums.Lisa started Gregory Event Services in 2012 at 32, eleven years into her career. She dove feet-first into the tech start-up world, working with Puppet, VMware, AWS, Google, and more. With life's twists and turns, Lisa stopped client work for a few years to focus on family. As the Director of Events at Puppet, Lisa executed Puppet's annual user conferences and managed a team to execute 75 global trade shows and 25 global, regional events. Lisa re-started her company in 2018. The company has grown nine times its size! Lisa is thrilled to work with a talented team and serve amazing global clients. She enjoys providing the services and transparency she always hoped to find when hiring vendors.In 2019, Lisa founded the Event Professionals Network — a Slack community helping fellow event planners. She hosts monthly meet-ups and is passionate about helping others.
