As the Head of Learning and Development at the Customer Solution Center of Tractor Supply Company, my role is to ensure that our team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. I lead a talented team of learning and development professionals, including trainers and instructional designers, to design and implement comprehensive training programs that align with our organization's goals and objectives.

I work at PeoplesBank, an independent local community bank with the capabilities of a larger bank. Known for serving as financial mentors for our clients by focusing conversations on their goals, dreams, priorities, and needs to develop the best solutions possible.I lead a small but powerful team where I've been focused on transforming Learning and Development at PeoplesBank from a Training Department to a Solutions and Consulting Department. We collaborate with every department in our organization to improve processes, engage associates, and develop programs for growth. Here's how my team has transformed Learning and Development at PeoplesBank.I am a creator, which is why I’m responsible for designing and implementing the strategy to engage and develop high-potential associates with guided and exploratory opportunities through the implementation of our Leadership Development Program. The experiences offered in this program allow our leaders to grow and develop into exceptional PeoplesBank and Community Leaders.Leveraging my passion for Learning & Development, my team created a culture that sees mentorship as an effective way of developing, engaging, and retaining high-potential associates through our Mentorship Program. This program shows associates in a tangible way that they are valued and that PeoplesBank future includes them.When I’m not managing our Leadership and Development Programs, I am leading and collaborating with my team on approaches to engage our associates through the production and execution of our Annual Associate Meeting, our Associate Engagement Program, and our continuous communication and learning opportunities.

Design, develop and deliver various types of learning and development programs throughout the bank, including operational (Platform – account opening) and soft skill learning programs. Consults with various departments to determine learning and development needs. Developed the Consumer Lending training that is used to train new Lenders in all the Financial Centers.

• Facilitated instruction of CIS 105 - Introduction to Microcomputers for Business, equipping students with foundational computer skills and knowledge essential for business success.• Delivered engaging instruction in CIS 108 - Introduction to PowerPoint, empowering students with valuable presentation design and delivery skills.• Taught CIS 110 - Introduction to Computer Information Systems, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of computer systems and their applications in business contexts.• Led instruction of CIS 135 - Intermediate Spreadsheet Applications, guiding students in developing advanced spreadsheet skills for data analysis and decision-making in a business setting.
