• Sole Foreign Legal Assistant in firm of Japanese bengoshi (attorneys) in Tokyo, responsible for drafting international contracts and correspondence in English and assisting the firm’s senior partner in international litigation and arbitration.

• Legal Assistant/Marketing Manager for Allen & Overy’s Tokyo office, responsible for legal research and producing Allen & Overy’s regular Legal Briefings for its Japanese clients on Project Finance, Capital Markets, Banking and Litigation. Organised the English Law Symposium in Tokyo promoting English Law as the choice of law.
