Consultative selling of learning resources to MATs and individual schools in the Primary phase. I work with school leaders to discuss and sell the products we have available to help improve learning outcomes.

Inform Secondary school SLT and MAT leaders about the range of qualifications and resources we have available and match them to the needs of themselves and their students and sell in collaboration with colleagues in my account management team.

Identify target schools and organisations, engaging these customers to understand their challenges and identifying which solutions best suit their needs. The role is part sales, part change management and part school-improvement.

Advising Secondary Heads of Department on the Edexcel exam provision for English, Maths and Science as well as accompanying resources to support teaching and learning.

 Supporting teachers to use and integrate the LearnPad tablet computer solution into their teaching practice  Researching current developments in education and using the information to put together collections of educational resources and creative ideas to support teachers Delivery of on-site product demonstrations to key decision makers Design and delivery of on-site training to teaching staff Working with other departments on projects such as marketing the product by building user case studies and feeding relevant information back to the development team to enable the product to evolve and meet the needs of the customer

 Preparation, delivery and assessment of work matched closely to the children's needs Various administrative tasks including the collection and interpretation of data to identify where targeted intervention is needed Management of teaching assistants, volunteers and student teachers to ensure effective use of people, time and resources. Sharing of best practice with colleagues and a commitment to continued professional development Collaborative work with the governing body to redesign the School website

Scheduled, monitored and tested educational resources from the authoring stage to the final product. Had budget control amounting to tens of thousands of pounds and delivered assets according to tight deadlines. Tasks included communicating with authors, designers and editors; researching media and information; arranging and attending video shoots; copy-editing; testing products and error reporting.

Provided excellent customer service to give advice, guidance and tutorial support to adults undertaking online learning courses within the College’s provision of over 100, mostly IT related, distance learning courses.

Responsible for assisting students to access paper and electronic resources within the University library and computer suite as well as researching and managing data relating to resources used.
