A project-based role collaborating with multiple teams to launch new online products and help with the development of internal editorial content/data management systems.

For 8 years I worked as the editor of Simon's Taxes, an 11-binder monthly looseleaf service providing extensive commentary on direct tax legislation, as well as editing other looseleafs and frontlist titles in the fields of tax and law. Prior to that I edited Tolley's Yellow and Orange Tax Handbooks. I also started a secondment role as a subject-matter expert for a major project to relaunch a new customer website.

As well as assisting with the editing of the OS&H journal, I also wrote articles for, and edited, a health and safety bi-monthly bulletin called Safety Express. I also helped to set up RoSPA's initial website.

Responsibilities included writing press releases, organising product photo shoots, liaising with clients, visiting journal editors to promote client products, preparing marketing proposals.

Joined GWR in the Swindon office as a press officer, which included writing press releases, dealing with journalist enquiries, giving interviews, then after a year moved up to Regional Railways HQ in Birmingham as a PR assistant, again, writing press releases and helping to organise events and marketing communications.
