I have learn't the meaning of pushing through barriers (physical, mental, emotional) no matter what;Team work iand that your team is only as good as your weakest member, hence building each other up and working together to continually improve outcomes is important; To respect no matter what your thoughts or position is; To have fun and encourage others....they need it too!

    Mary Kay Consultant
Mary Kay Inc. Jun 2003 - Mar 2008

My strong point in the beauty industry has been sales, however it hasn't been the money that drives me. I view it as being the 'match maker'. I am responsible for knowing my product 'very well', key ingredients, roles of those ingredients and discerning what ingredients would solve or improve specific complaints or concerns. The next challenge is to listen to client/customer attentively and ask the right questions leading to the greatest complaint/concern. Then you match the right product to the client. Customer satisfaction is what drove me to be often Queen of Sales in my Unit. My most meaningful award was receiving the Go-Give Award. A prestige award in the Mary Kay world and means " If you will give of yourself without thought of financial gain, then financial gain will come. Give. Give enthusiastically. Give willingly. And be willing to give beyond that for which you are being paid, and watch the returns come in. “ - Mary Kay.Other skills I learnt:People ManagementMentoringCoachingTeam workLeadershipBookkeepingAspects of Financial ManagementTeaching/TrainingPublic Speaking
