I am a teacher entering my 15th year in education and my 7th year as a 5th grade ESL/GT teacher. I have been part of campus leadership and lead for my 5th grade team for 4 of those 7 years. Aside from my generalist elementary certification and ESL certification, I am also Reading Specialist certified. I am a proud ambassador for The Leaders Readers Network, an organization that focuses on providing books and literacy experiences to students through various book giveaways and service projects. I have co-sponsored various clubs at my school focusing on the STEM-based ones such as Robotics in the past (2 years) and Solar Cars (4 years) and Rubik's Cubing Club (founded and going into year 2) currently. As an educator, my main focus is to prepare students for an ever-evolving education landscape and equally and rapidly changing workplace.
