I assist the Executive Director in setting and carrying out the vision, mission and objectives for emergency communications services.I perform administrative duties necessary to support and promote effective center operations, including: delegation of staffing and work assignments; budget and development of policies and procedures. I observe, directs and manages the daily operations and activities of the 911 Communications Centers Operations Managers that ensure the efficient deployment of staff and resources during major incidents and natural disasters. I am responsible for informing and maintaining contact with elected officials, Police & Fire Chiefs and other key leaders from internal and external agencies, departments and divisions. Acts for the 911 Communications Center in the Executive Director’s absence. I lead supervise and direct subordinate staff, including the 911 Emergency Dispatch Operations Managers and Supervisors, who are responsible for delivering and carrying out the Centers mission-critical services.I actively participate in hiring and promotion processes. I respond to employee grievances and oversees the general conduct of all subordinate personnel. I make recommendations and also enforce disciplinary action. Attends labor/management meetings with union representatives and participates in contract negotiations on the centers behalf. Sets employee performance standards, training, and continuing educational. Develops, prepares and monitors budget. Approves and tracks costs/expenditures for equipment, personnel and makes recommendations for the purchase and distribution of materials necessary for maintenance and repair on all systems. Assists the Executive Director with the formulation, issuance, and implementation of the centers rules, regulations, policies and procedures.Proposes plans for growth and makes recommendations for service improvements. I perform other duties not listed here as well as assigned to me as needed.

I co-own and operate our award winning hot yoga studio that currently staffs roughly 20 plus regularly scheduled teachers and rotates on average five substitute teachers with my husband and business partner Sean Kehoe. We manage the accounts of all full time members and also short term pass holders. I built and maintain the regular schedule, specialty events, company website and company correspondence. Together we conduct the bi-weekly payroll and distribution of compensation. Our company is passionate about community outreach and provides yoga for not just our core member base but also various groups of individuals in need of our therapeutic attributes in a private group setting. It is an honor to give back to individuals seeking to improve not only their physical fitness but also their mental fitness as well through our regularly scheduled classes open to the public but also our closed private classes to specific groups with varying needs that encompass everything from domestic violence survivors in recovery, team building for employee groups, and our beloved first responders to name only a few. Since moving to Utah in March of 2022 I have transitioned most of my managerial responsibilities to a designated onsite studio manager. We currently meet remotely weekly to review the progress of the studio and to discuss any future related business. I still enjoy teaching remotely and travel back to conduct workshops once every few months or so. Yoga is very near and dear to my heart. Being a domestic violence survivor myself and also working in a high stress career, yoga came into my life when I didn’t know I needed it the most and profoundly changed me forever. The practice is very much apart of who I am now and will continue to remain so undoubtedly for the rest of my life.

In 2018 Sandia Police Department separated their dispatch services from Sandoval County Regional Emergency Communications Center and created their own. I resigned from New Mexico State Police to assist Sandia Police in laying the foundations for their new communications center. This unique opportunity allowed me to provide insight and organization with developing the centers Standards of Operations, Policies and Procedures. I was responsible for implementing a training process for onboarding new communications operators, maintaining NCIC files as the communications centers TAC and continue with daily communications operators tasks.

I directly supervised a shift of 7 to 14 communications operators at any given time in a ten hour shift. My responsibilities included monitoring their 911 calls and radio traffic on both law and fire/EMS frequencies. During high priority responses it was essential to not only actively monitor but provide guidance and support until the high priority call for service was stabilized. Confirming that all warrant entries and removals were completed correctly to their entirety and logged properly on a daily basis was required to fulfill our department’s expectations that exceeded the state minimum requirements. I was directly responsible for making sure my assigned core shift of 5 operators were in compliance with the departments SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) and city employee policies. As an FTO certified supervisor I was responsible for evaluating and recommending a trainee's completion and release from our training program. I also continued to act as communications operator and perform all duties, tasks, and responsibilities of said position to accommodate heavy inbound calls, emergency radio traffic and minimum staffing requirements.

My daily responsibilities included answering and assisting 911 and non emergency lines to include determining the proper response to dispatch such as Police Fire or EMS. Conduct NCIC entries, removals and modifications as required. I received my CTO/FTO training certification in 2011 and actively trained new employee's during a selected one out of three phases of their training during which time I monitored, instructed and maintained Daily Observations Reports of their progress. Union Steward from 2010 to 2014. I provided representation and council to employees to ensure they union mandated rights were protected.
