Lisa is the Chair of the Rachael Warrior Foundation. A non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence along with raising awareness. (In memory of her daughters best friend Rachael Wierzbicki) She has also spent the past 15 years raising money and volunteering for the American Cancer Society and Mary’s Wig Room. (In memory of her mother, Francella Corsi) During the COVID pandemic, Lisa took time to become a yoga teacher with the hope of bringing yoga to a population that is underserved. A Note From Lisa.....Life is shortWe spend a lot of time working. If you hate your job, make a change! I started my career as a stock broker. I worked hard to get there. (college, licensing, credentialing, interviewing) However, once I actually started working as a broker, I HATED it. So I left. After pouring my heart into years of prep...I just walked away. At that point, I worked retail for a while. I met wonderful people who touched my heart and am grateful for that time in my life. I also wrote newspaper ads and edited a few things for my sister to make ends meet. I stumbled upon an opportunity in consumer product sales and quickly moved into pharmaceutical sales. I worked my way up and into the world of oncology. Now I work in the Immuno-Oncology field and feel privileged to bring hope to cancer patients on a daily basis. I love what I do...but the road that led me here was full of twists, turns, and detours. My biggest advice...don’t be afraid to make a change. My work in the world of Yoga and Meditation have enhanced my life and hopefully the lives of my students. My yoga mat is and will always be one of my happiest places. Find happiness by doing these 2 things everyday: One random act of kindness for someone else and unapologetically, one thing just for you.
