I am an adamant believer that when we create great work places, great work takes place. I do not subscribe to work-life balance. Instead, I'm committed to creating work-life integration, where employees are doing their life's work, not just punching in and out of a J.O.B. Most of the world is grinding Monday through Friday, living for the weekends, their two weeks of vacation per year, or worst yet--retirement. I am constantly asking myself, "How do we create a life we don't need a vacation from?" (credit to Mr. Seth Godin). This question is what drives me, and has led to some pretty incredible people initiatives that has made Organifi a Best Place to Work for the last four years running. What gets me out of bed each morning is curating a culture where people are empowered to innovate and create in meaningful ways that are in alignment with their authentic selves--all while having FUN with like-minded coworkers they can genuinely call friends. I am passionate about building teams of mission-driven people who share the same core values, and then providing the coaching and training to help them succeed both personally and professionally.I have over ten years of experience recruiting, hiring, training and developing teams based on this principle of work-life integration, and I firmly believe it's one of the primary drivers for HAPPINESS and employee engagement. What ignites my soul is when I hear an employee say, "I can't believe I get paid to do this," and I am deeply committed to helping as many people feel this way because of the work I get to do every day.I am on a mission to reimagine & redefine what work can be, and it starts with businesses who believe that people are the heartbeat of the organization, and then act accordingly. When we take care of our people, our people take care of the business.
