As the Interim Manager of the Business Improvement Area, I was on secondment from the City of Brampton Strategic Communications department. Responsible for the set-up of the newly revived BIA while overseeing the day to day operations and administering the programs. Developed the constitution and three year budget and strategic plan for the not-for-profit organization that supports the local business community.

Determine direction of the event budget in consultation with the President of BDDC.Developed, through a RFP process, the BDDC’s new branding to include the corporation’s four facets.Fiscal responsibility for all aspects of marketing & events under my direction including developing partnerships and sponsorships with external parties.Working with organizing committees (volunteer) to facilitate all BDDC events including but not limited to Classic Cars & Legendary Stars (attendance estimate 20,000+), Investors Group Thursday Night Concert Series and Christmas programs in the Downtown. Oversee the production of all marketing materials.
