As the Medical Director for Women's Health at the Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center, I oversee the delivery of quality and comprehensive care to female veterans in Leavenworth and Topeka VAMCs. I also serve as the VISN gynecology lead and the VISN IVF- co chairman, coordinating and implementing infertility care and best practices across the network.In addition, I am a subject matter expert on the Women's Health team consulting with Oracle, the VA's new computer program provider, to ensure the system meets the needs and expectations of women veterans. With 29+ years of experience in both private practice and government health care, I am passionate about improving the health outcomes and satisfaction of women veterans through data analysis, gynecologic surgery, and minimally invasive procedures.
