About Lisa Lozano

I am a second-year doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology program at Texas A&M University with a master's in Clinical Psychology from UTRGV and a bachelor's degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from MIT. As an undergraduate, I founded an initiative that developed and enhanced resources for low-income students at MIT. After undergrad, I gained professional experience working with and advocating for first-generation, low-income college populations, homeless populations, and high school students. I have experience with college advising, organizing college success programming, workshop and curriculum development, teaching, and (re)engaging under-resourced students in academic or career tracks.
