I manage a spend of 10m for Maintenace, Repairs, Operations, and Production supplies and services. I negotiate long term agreements, solicit bids, manage the Supply Chain, oversee the Outsourcing of Procurement Commodities. I developed the company's first Vendor Managed Inventory Program14 years ago, which is now gone National. Frequently, I am called up to assist our other divisions regarding contracts, procurement issues, and best practices. I am the Energy Champion and work with our Energy Broker to handle all gas and electric contracts. Currently studying to be a Lean Coach and utilize that certification for the development of my team.Involved in many A3 Lean Teams, projects and continuous improvement initiatives resulting in greater productivity and cost savings. A stand-in for our Director of Purchasing on the raw material side of the business in his absence. Servicing 3 buildings and our Corporate Headquarters. Involved in all CAPEX purchases. Responsible for the Maintenance Stockroom Vendor Fulfilment Programs, with 5 different category suppliers. All 2nd party steel outside processing, ISO Audits, Approved Supplier List, Quality needs, and EHS compliance for the company. I Work closely with our Quality Department and EHS as it relates to Supply Chain/Vendor/Customer requests. I was the first to introduce cost savings on rolls and major tooling via our new supplier in India and to participate in a Business to Business Mart in India. I was also asked to handle the Corporate Procurement Card Program and have grown the rebate each year and exceeded my goal. I continue to build and monitor this program for its'​ effectiveness and financial reward. I remain open to examining my process, think outside the box, leading by example, and giving 100% in everything I do. I continue to focus my efforts on Lean and utilizing technology to replace manual, antiquated processes.

Procure pharmaceutical drugs both over the counter, (OTC) and prescription (Rx) for 4 distribution centers nationally. Just accepted position as med-surg negotiator when company laid off 107 people because they sold off the pharmaceutical side to a large player in the market.

I was a buyer for maintenance, repairs, operations, and production items, (MROP), and then promoted to a chemical buyer with a location down south to manage all the procurement for, chemicals, corrugated, dies, plates, folding boxes etc..
