About Lisa M Lambert

Lisa Lambert, Chief Investment Officer, Private Markets at George Kaiser Family Foundation (GKFF) where she is responsible for managing an extensive portfolio of private markets investments and making new investments in areas of strategic important to the Foundation including energy and technology. Lisa will be based in Silicon Valley, expanding GKFF’s footprint by opening an office in Los Gatos and hiring a local team to complement the larger team in Tulsa. Prior to GKFF, Lisa was the Founder and President of National Grid Partners, a division of National Grid where she was responsible for leading innovation, incubation, corporate venture capital, business development, and venture acceleration for the company. Ms. Lambert built and led the Silicon Valley-based organization connecting National Grid and global utilities in the NextGrid Alliance, to the technology, entrepreneurial and venture capital community to drive innovation to address key trends happening within the energy industry.Prior to National Grid Partners, Lisa was a Managing Partner at The Westly Group, a clean technology private venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, where she was Managing Partner and led investments in the internet of things, resource efficiency, and software technology companies. Prior to The Westly Group, she worked at Intel Corporation for 19 years and was Vice President and Managing Director of Intel Capital’s Software and Services Group and the Founder and Managing Director of the Intel Capital Diversity Fund. Ms. Lambert led global investments in over 100 companies over her career at Intel Capital and managed a large organization of senior investment professionals. Ms. Lambert produced top decile returns, including seven IPOs and over 35 M&A exits. Ms. Lambert is on the board of directors for the National Venture Capital Association and is co-chair of the Venture Forward initiative. She began her career at Owens-Corning as a software engineer, and also worked in sales, strategy, and business development roles.
