I am honored to help both individuals and leaders leverage their full potential, and embark on a journey of exploration and innovation to solve complex challenges and develop new ideas. This is the power of diversity and inclusion. Diversity is more than just numbers; it’s an ingredient and a tool for any business strategy. Inclusion can cultivate an environment where an idea or an approach or a different perspective can increase the probability of success and increase the probability to innovate. Although this can be difficult, it is worth the investment. It reminds me of the African Proverb, ‘If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together’.It is amazing to see the proverbial ‘light bulb’ go off when someone utilizes a different idea or approach to develop a solution, or in some cases turn a challenge into an opportunity. I consider it a privilege to work in the diversity, inclusion and innovation space. I was working/living in this space long before it was called Diversity and Inclusion; it is a way of life for me. I have had the opportunity to work with colleagues from Sales to Research, to Manufacturing to IT, from entry level, to employee resource group leaders to seasoned executives and community leaders. Regardless of their roles, all of them strived to leverage diverse ideas, approaches and talent, while cultivating an inclusive environment to reach a common goal or solve a challenge. Now more than ever, diversity, inclusion and innovation are critical for any company and it all starts with a conversation. So let’s talk!
