Reporting to the Employee Forum Chair, this role owned the management of the Employee Forum and assisted the Chair in building secure relationships between employees and the business. It acted as a central point for all consultation related matters and SLA staff support matters.

Reporting to the Head of Joint Business Services this role was responsible for owning the team engagement agenda and developing and maintaining metrics. The role was also responsible for controlling departmental budget, manpower and recruitment and supporting the talent management process within the department, reporting directly on these aspects to the Head of Global Private Market Operations

Reporting to the Head of Client Reporting this role was responsible for owning the private markets manager’s reports production process, controlling client communications and hosting key stakeholder meetings across the private markets and alternatives range of products within the EMEA region.

Joined the company in 2001 as EA to the joint CEO’s and Administration Manager for a team of three. This role included all aspects one would expect of an Executive PA as well as the management and development of three other members of the team.

Role as Office Manager included Management accounts to trial balance, payroll, all diary aspects for both clients and candidates, attending interviews with one of the Partners of the firm and subsequent preparation of CV’s, Attendance at various Edinburgh financial networking events

Role at West Lothian Venture Fund and in its previous guise as LEL, included deployment of regional venture capital funds which meant carrying out due diligence on a potential investment case, producing investment recommendation papers for discussion at Investment Committee, attending monitoring meetings at investee companies. Role also included all aspects of office management including: management account production to trial balance level, payroll, bank reconciliation and PA to the Managing Director.At West Lothian Council - employed as a Small Business Adviser with local small businesses to help them obtain grants, produce business plans for business start-ups. Role included representing the West Lothian Business Centre at companies where staff were being made redundant, or attending business themselves to discuss their requirements for funding and or grants to be able to take on staff.
