Worked with CCG clinical leads to establish services including AposTherapy; Pre-op Checklists in primary care, Team oversight and direction of service reviews including dermatology, ophthalmology, haematology, as well as establishing clinical pathways to support the delivery of NHS constitutional standards - 62 day cancer standard (Cancer vague symptoms pilot) and RTT (worked extensively with Acute Trust to improve 18 week pathways across specialties)

Worked in partnership with health and local authority commissioners to implement Mental Health Act 1983 - 2007 Amendments:

Responsible for a portfolio of Patient Transport Service (PTS) contracts across the South East London area. I was accountable for the performance, management, finance and quality standards for these contracts. Responsibilities:• Service delivery of ambulance transport across South East London.• Worked with all departments including oncology to improve on arrival and department times.• Project management of new business initiatives including creating a single point of access for patient transport requests.• Relationship building to develop new business opportunities with Primary Care Trusts (PCTs).• Extensive people management across diverse cultures. This included conducting PDRs in line with the NHS Agenda for Change (AfC).• Team meetings with staff to ensure productivity, listening to any concerns and supporting where necessary whilst ensuring compliance with policies • Negotiated contract variations and annual price reviews on a quarterly basis. Rebasing and re-costing the contract if warranted.
