Oversees all aspects of the hiring process, weekly payroll, employee maintenance and deductions, rate increases, track and administer insurance and retirement plans, reconcile monthly benefits invoices, processes terminations, handle employee relations, worker’s compensation, unemployment claims and appeals. Responsible for Human Resources, Receiving and Loss Prevention to support merchandising and sales efforts in a luxury retail store with annual sales of $3 million per year. Key Results: Reduced EEO complaints to zero at four Home Depot facilities.  Reduced associate complaints 80% in two years. Improved internal performance evaluation and progressive discipline process by consistent accountability and increased associate training knowledge and follow-up. Key Results: Improved compliance of worker’s compensation process to lower OSHA recordable incidents to one to two per year resulting in reduced company liability and costs by improved training, accountability and associate awareness.  Improved results of Employer of Choice survey by 11 percentage points in 2011 and 2012 by expanding positive associate recognition and rewards programs, expanding workplace diversity and enhancing communication.  DC Awarded highest company achievement award in 2012 and 2013 for overall outstanding distribution center metrics in the Home Depot Direct Fulfillment logistics network.  Increased benefits and 401k enrollment by 10% annually through program education, information and weekly communication.  Coordinated the closure of multiple departments over a two year period and successfully managed severance payments, retention bonuses and term benefits.
