Watson & Sole are leading providers of Operation & Maintenance Manuals, Health & Safety Files, BREEAM User Guides and L2 Building Log Book technical writing services and management services of sub contractors O & M information. As a Project Manager I manage the technical writing team primarily for the services O & M writing. I request and track technical information from manufacturers, suppliers and specialist contractors.I liaise with and work with sub contractors to help them meet the requirements for the documentation in order to produce good quality documents.All documents are reviewed for quality assurance of the information provided and then I work with the client team to review and approve, sign off the documentation suite.In order to manage this process Watson & Sole have a web based system for which I am responsible for project specific site set up, upload process of O&M documentation which are then reviewed,updated accordingly and approved via the system for handover to the client and their facilities management teams.As well as using the Watson & Sole web based system I use databases and other document control systems such as 4projects, BIW, Asite, domeconnect, icosnet for retrieval of information such as tech subs and design documents, uploading documents for review and monitoring progress of as built, record drawing approval.

Labour controller is just what it says on the box, as a facilities management company Status had service contracts to attend to and plan maintenance for, as a labour controller I planned in works, arranged for material orders, deliveries and call out for specialist contractors. Producing Operation & Maintenance documentation for the Project Work carried out including inputting, registering and printing NICEIC test certificates. This work involved the invoicing and budget control of the contracts and projects along with helping to get prices together for estimates for new contracts or extra works
