I am an energetic leader with extensive experience in procurement and supply chain across life science, research, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations. I have expertise in leading teams in purchasing, supply chain and facilities functions as well as achieving as an individual contributor. Bringing significant savings, achieving as a key participant in ERP launches and updates as well as organizational change is where I shine. My experience includes leading the procurement efforts at two organizations (Amgen and Seattle Children's) for the construction of flagship campus Research and Development facilities including RFP's and negotiations of major lab equipment, computers, facility furniture and service contracts. The spend on these projects exceeded $100MM. My team and I were successful in achieving multi-million-dollar savings allowing our companies to further invest in R&D.  During the pandemic I am proud to say that the Seattle Children's Research locations were able to continue work without any interruption due to a lack of supplies and equipment. To do so my team and I worked tirelessly to locate the necessary products and equipment through both known and new suppliers. Through it all we were able to succeed in keeping both the critical manufacturing operation, which supports grievously ill children with life-saving treatment, as well as bench science, vivarium services and administration functioning.
