I started at Palisades in March of 2012. working an outage for the cleaning crew after the outage I stayed on, I joined the Women in Nuclear, and after a couple of years I made the transition to the security force where I stayed for 5 years before making the change to Administrative Assistant III for the Training Department . where I joined The Safety Committee. as Palisades was closing I accepted a position at Arkansas Nuclear One in Russellville Arkansas as the Chemistry - RP Administrative Specialist III the transition is going well and I have joined their diversity and inclusion group where I hope to help make a difference. as well as continuing with Women in Nuclear. promotion to Administrative Specialist IV. and received my certificate for PMP course through Simplelearn. also became fleet certified FFD Collector April 2023. I left Arkansas to return home to Michigan to be with family, I began a career with Holtec International as a Training Coordinator and am looking forward to helping the team make history starting back up Palisades nuclear plant nestled on lake Michigan.
