This project has already created volunteering opportunities and offers local residents the chance to gain skills and qualifications in areas such as woodland management, dry stone walling and delivering forest schools.My remit is to develop Hurst Farm Regeneration Ltd t/a Wild Works - this is a Community Benefit Society owned and operated by local people to care for the landscape around Hurst Farm, Matlock, Derbyshire. The aim is to create sustainable income streams, bringing opportunities to create prosperity for local people and enable the community to manage it's own assets in the future. -
