Lisa Newton has extensive experience in choral arts nonprofits, choir management, choral music, event management, and event production. Her experience ranges from music education & arts management to strategy-based corporate event production.Lisa is a Long Island native and currently sings with the Voce Chamber Singers in Vienna, VA. Previously, she sang with the San Diego Master Chorale (San Diego, CA) and the San Diego Pro Arte Voices (San Diego, CA). She was the Artistic Personnel and Production Manager for the San Diego Master Chorale and an ex officio member of the Board of Directors. In the years prior, she taught choir, orchestra, and drama in both middle school and high school. She has a Bachelor's Degree (James Madison University) and Master's Degree (Boston University) in Vocal Music Education, and a Graduate Certificate in Arts Management (University of Massachusetts- Amherst). Lisa is currently serving on the South Loudoun Youth Choir Board of Directors as the Vice President as well as serving the Voce Chamber Singers Board of Directors as the Marketing Committee Chair.
