Conducted cutting-edge independent research using Doppler Marine Radar to measure ocean surface currents and study internal waves. Participated in four research cruises in the Florida Straits, Palau Trench, Luzon Strait, and the California shelf. Presented my work at many international conferences and Office of Naval Research project meetings. Published research findings.

Taught four sections of Introduction to Oceanography Lab in a formal classroom setting. Conducted in-class labs and field trips, graded weekly lab reports, held office hours, and designed extra credit assignments.

Provided exemplary tutoring in a variety of mathematical disciplines including algebra, probability, statistics, geometry, trigonometry, and finite math in a one-on-one setting and in groups ranging in size.

Organized and conducted homework and tutoring labs for college algebra class. Gained teaching skills in a classroom setting.
