Manage a team supporting a global agency securities financing, investment management and trust business, which delivers services to institutional clients across the globe, operating through domestic and foreign branches of a US bank as well as foreign subsidiaries. • Provide advice regarding the investment of cash collateral and the establishment and maintenance of collective investment funds and separately managed accounts, collaborating with risk management and compliance professionals to establish and maintain appropriate investment risk governance procedures. • Negotiate and draft investment company shareholder servicing agreements, and revenue sharing agreements, offering strong working knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.• Structure and negotiate complex securities lending transactions as agent for institutional clients and broker dealers. Provide advice regarding product development, broker dealer regulatory issues, management of counterparty defaults, fiduciary and cross border issues.• Provide global and domestic custody arrangements for institutional clients including investment companies, employee benefit plans, sovereigns and insurance companies, optimizing structure and negotiating collateral control and management arrangements in connection with securities financing transactions.• Establish master trusts and single plan trusts for employee welfare and employee benefit plans, providing advice regarding ERISA, prohibited transactions and fiduciary issues. Review employee benefit plan investments including private investment funds and prime brokerage arrangements.
