For more than 20 years, the Issues Affecting Women Programme (IAWP) has funded women’s rights organisations and movements around the world, supporting important but often underfunded and unrecognised work in defence of justice and equality. We resource feminist organisations and movements with core, flexible, multi-year funding, we offer support for organisational development and capacity strengthening and we facilitate connections. We believe all women and girls should be safe, free, and have the opportunity to thrive.At Oak, I manage an extensive grant portfolio focussing on addressing domestic violence, trafficking and exploitation, and violence against women in situations of crisis. I develop grant-making opportunities, manage and monitor over 40 grants, I build effective and relationships based on trust with grantees and foster connections and learning between grantees. I specifically support grantee partners in Brazil, Moldova, Switzerland and I manage the crisis portfolio.

GCERF is a global fund that strengthens community resilience by supporting local initiatives to address the drivers of violent extremism.I was responsible for a portfolio of community-led programmes and promoted initiatives led by young people and women’s groups in Bangladesh (including in the Rohingyas camps), Mali and Nigeria. I supported grantee partners to design and manage programmes to foster peaceful coexistence between communities and social cohesion, invariably in a context of high security risk.Portfolio size: USD 15M

Plan International is a global children’s charity working towards protecting children's rights and keeping girls safe.In this role, I managed a portfolio of 5 to 7 projects (funded by the EU, DFID, Unicef and The Big Lottery Fund) across West Africa, East Africa and South East Asia, with a strong focus on Child Protection and Gender Equality. I supported project teams and local partners, remotely and through field visits, to effectively implement projects; including being responsible for proposal development, reporting and MEL, risk management, capacity strengthening and compliance with donors’ requirements. I managed a portfolio of 5 large WASH projects (funded by the EU) across East and West Africa, with a strong focus on Community-Led Total Sanitation. I provided support, guidance and trainings to our different Country Offices. Portfolio size: GBP 13M

Bunia, Democratic Republic Of Congo

Solidarites is an international humanitarian organisation which provides aid for victims of armed conflicts and natural disasters. I was responsible for a 12 month programme (USD 2.5M, funded by Unicef) and therefore for Planning, organising, managing and monitoring resources, and managing a team of over 30 people, in a very volatile environment. The programme had a three-pronged approach of intervention: Rapid and Multi Sectoral Assessments (about 3 Multi-Sectoral Assessments and 15 Rapid Assessments per month), NFI Distribution and NFI fairs (to over 40,000 households) and Education (40,000 school kits distributed, over 100 classrooms constructed and rehabilitated).

ACTED is the second biggest French NGO and supports vulnerable population affected by wars, natural catastrophes and/or economical and social crises.I setup the Monitoring and Evaluation unit for ACTED Sudan and created MEL tools and systems, which led to better accountability practices. I worked closely with local communities and local authorities and managed a team of 10 people.
