Dr. Lisa Patton is a licensed clinical psychologist who has worked in research/consulting for twenty years, focusing on mental health and substance misuse research, evaluation, and quality measure development and implementation with vulnerable populations and across care settings. For the past decade, Dr. Patton has worked to develop and implement behavioral health quality measures, in particular those addressing care coordination and physical health co-morbidities. Since its inception in 2012, Dr. Patton has served on the Medicaid Adult Core Set Workgroup. In 2017, she served on a national opioid stewardship panel convened by the National Quality Forum. She co-chaired with CDC a Social Determinants of Health Data Integration Workgroup and participated in an NQF Serious Mental Illness Workgroup. In addition to her project-related expertise, business development, particularly in the Federal sector, has been a priority for Dr. Patton. Prior to working in research, Dr. Patton worked as a therapist in community mental health; her clinical specialty is trauma.
